MOUNTAIN GOAT free range hunting during the day Billy Goats only we avoid shooting nannys and kids.  Goat herds moving down from timber hill tops each morning can be hunted during the day whilst they feed on the open faces of hills and gorges and offer excellent hunting for beginners and bowhunters, for close in sport.  These billy goats have curved symmetrical horns ranging up to 40" spread plus.  Spotlighting the creek flats often produces pigs and foxes each night.

We drive up onto hills and vantage points glassing and locating herds of up to 20 mountain goats scattered around the hills and gorges then plan a stalk to get above the goats into the wind to select and shoot a trophy billy.
