“COS ALL TIMES WASTED WOTS NOT SPENT HUNTIN”
A hunting and fishing sportsman's paradise in the dry tropics, we run hunts to the rivers and coastal country in North Queensland out from Townsville. Big pigs, dingoes and Chital deer plus estuary fishing for Barramundi, Mangrove jacks, mud crabs and prawns on different properties throughout North Qld, best months April to December.
With current discounted air fares, Townsville is within easy economical reach from southern capital cities, a few hours travel can put the hunter and fisherman into a bountiful and beautiful pristine, warm environment.
Northern Queensland the dry tropics this is it, perfect one day, just beautiful the next Banjo Paterson wrote about this place when he said.
IN THE MURMER OF THE BREEZES AND THE RIVER ON ITS BARS AND HE SEES THE VISION SPLENDED ON THE SUNLITE PLAINS EXTENDED, AND AT NIGHT THE WONDEROUS GLORY OF THE EVERLASTING STARS.
Time and tide waits for no man, get out of the dingy office and the dusty dirty city, leave the rush and nervous haste behind, experience the happiness, pleasures, solitude and leisure of the wilderness now.
PIGS ARE WHERE YOU FIND THEM BUT YOU CAN ONLY SHOOT THEM ONCE.
I pay property owners for exclusive hunting access and usually need to change pig properties every 6 months to provide an ongoing supply of pigs. I try to find properties within 200km of Charters Towers, hopefully with either Deer, Goats, Donkeys, Brumbies and fishing options as well as pigs. Undertake to reduce the dingo numbers on these properties, shooting dingos where ever I see them these dingos are numerous and hunting in packs killing well grown calves. I don't want the property owners to have to lay poison baits, which put my dogs at risk.
